Equivalent resistance = one coil ÷ number of coils. Current through the coils = √(power ÷ equivalent resistance). Current per coil = current through the coils ÷ number of coils. Current drawn from the battery = power ÷ (3.2 V × 0.9).
Theoretical figures, for identical coils built in parallel. On a regulated single-battery mod, it is the current drawn from the battery, not the current through the coils, that you compare with the continuous discharge rating given by the battery maker. It equals the power divided by 3.2 V, the voltage of a nearly flat cell, and by 0.9, the chip efficiency, two common conservative values. On a mod with two batteries in series, each battery supplies half of it. On an unregulated mechanical mod, the battery supplies the current through the coils. Adults only.
