The Spirale Argentée project
Spirale Argentée is an independent guide with a single subject, the ready-made coils used in e-cigarettes. It is split into four sections, each handled brand by brand: compatibility, coil ranges and their resistance values, priming and lifespan.
Why a coil guide
The coil is the part you replace most often, and that is when the questions start. Which one fits this tank? Which resistance should you pick? How do you avoid a burnt taste with a new coil? Why does it wear out sooner than expected? The answers exist, but they are scattered across leaflets, forums and product pages. Spirale Argentée brings them together and sorts them.
Who writes it
The guides are written by Arthur Pellegrin, who treats coils as wear parts. What interests him is what fits on which device, what works well and how long it lasts.
How the guides are built
Each guide starts from a practical question and answers it directly, in the section it belongs to. The compatibility table on the home page and the parallel coil calculator back the guides up for quick checks.
UK readers
Our English pages are written with the United Kingdom in mind. Products sold in the UK follow the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, which cap nicotine strength at 20 mg/ml and tank capacity at 2 ml, so some kit sold elsewhere is not available here in the same form. Vaping products are for adults only and may not be sold to anyone under 18.
